The weather, like every spring, has been unpredictable.  It was hot and then it was cold.  There has been serious wind. Oh well, it's what happens here in Indiana.  I have been really stoked on skating and not much else.  I want to be on the road.  Lets get something going.  The wind ruined our Terre Haute Show me trip today.  Lets try again next week.

Thanks neighbors and the city of Indianapolis.  Wasn't working on that or anything.

So after Fayetteville I was literally chewing off my fingernails.  I had no idea what Skatopia was going to be like.  I always said I wouldn't go there.  But we lucked out.  There was only two other guys there beside Bruece.  Bruece ended up being a pretty cool dude.  So much history at this place.  I should have taken more photos but I think the whole time I was overwhelmed... does that make me a pussy? We skated the concrete bowl for a while with the whole crew and Bruece.  He started up his grill and invited us to all cook together.  Then he invited us to a session on the "big bowl," if you skateboard you know what I am talking about.  It ended up being really fun once I got over my fear at least a little bit.  After skating was done it was to the PBR lounge and shotgun party.  It ended up being a really fun night with a good fire and camping with just the crew.

What an awesome trip.  Can't wait for next year.  Can't wait for June.  Shit, I just can't wait to be on the road again.  Camping, skating, and homies, it doesn't get much better than this.

Whee-Skato

The trip started off like any regular skate trip.  We met up with the crew in Wheeling.  Jersey Drew brought along Dylan, Willy, Phil, and surprise guest Jess Dog.  It is always fun meeting up with these dudes.  I hate that there are so many miles between us, maybe that is a good thing.  Instagrams were flying everywhere and the session was on.
