I had sometime over break and I made some edits.  I hope you enjoy.



Here is an old footy, but new edit.  There is a lot of stuff in here.  My favorite part is the footage from Homewoods. Bart Smith has been a major motivator for me throughout the years.  I hope he knows that, maybe I should tell him.  I would work with him if he would let me.  I might quit teaching to do it actually.



The first time I went to AZ I was way to into street skating.  Luckily Lee Bender saved Brad, Nathan, and I's life.  He showed me what transition skating was.  I think on this trip I learned how to carve a corner, how to back d, and how amazing skating a pool is.  I would like to think that he is proud of where we have came since that day.  It was really generous of him to take the time out of his life to bring a couple of young and younger kids around for almost a whole week.  I had not really traveled very much from skateboarding but Lee definitely lit a fire under me.  I know I have not gone as crazy as some of my friends but the fire is for sure there.  I can't see myself in a position where I am not able to go and skateboard in new places.  I have met some of the most amazing people on the road.  Friends that I don't think I ever would have met staying in Indianapolis.  There is nothing more humbling then driving from one coast to another. 2500 miles is a long drive inside a car, it really is, I wasn't just quoting the Modest Mouse song. People think you have to leave the country to travel but there is so much in our own country that most people haven't seen.  I am glad I have started to scratch the surface.  Get out there and do it.  I know I am a different person because of it.  I am thankful that I have friends that want to encourage me to get out there.

Didn't think we could stay out later than we did the other nights.  These folks here now how to party.  My phone doesn't know how to update stuff so my all terrain blogging vehicle is down for a little bit.  Hopefully it will come back together.  This trip has been awesome.  I can't believe it is my last day.  I am coming back.

So I haven't been writing very much because I hate typing on my phone.  Not that anyone cares because I know I look at blogs to look at photos and that is it.  I LOVE Indiana I love my friends and I have no regrets for being there for the majority of the last 15 years.  However, being a skateboarder for life and wanted to skate in new stuff it is hard being there.  The last three days as minimal as it may seem have been eye opening to me.  I have spent the majority of my days figuring out how I could get my ass out here permanently.  I have a teaching degree so I could easily teach all winter and then leave for the hot summers.  I miss traveling, I want to feel comfortable on the road again.  I don't want to forget how I am feeling right now or ANY of the experiences I have had.  You life can seem down or take turns for reasons that are impossible to understand.  These are the events that turn us into the people we are today.  Everything influences you in some sort of way.  I am very grateful for the friends, family, and others that have been or still are close to me.  I have my life to live but I couldn't do it without the others in it. It might be from lack of sleep but I really want to be out here.

Pool 1

Surprising enough we all made it out of the house by 1000. We headed straight to einsteins then swimming in the pool.

My back is already done but everyone frontside grinded! We had a lot of bucketing to do but it all paid off when we got to ride it.
