Finally a Northwest edit

I've been filming less and less on trips. I have more fun when I don't film but it is great to have something at the end.

a little reminder of summer

I have so much footage.  I'm trying to organize it and get it out.  Enjoy

northwest and back 2013 part 1

I know its super late and its already winter.  But a lot has been happening and its been hard to find time and sit down and go through photos and video.  Anyways, I believe this is my sixth year in a row where I have packed into a van with my friends and headed to the northwest. There have been many different variations of these trips because as you do them you learn about things that you could do and then you learn about things that you want to do again.  This is the first year in a long time that we did not go to Orcas Island.  5000 miles in two weeks. 5 flat tires.  One broken transmission.  One broken exhaust system.  A staff infection. The list goes on.  Here are some photos from the trip and a video.

Chris was good at sleeping in the back.  We started as 3.  This was nice.

Transmission or the shifter broke and we couldn't go in and out of park or reverse.  I was ripping apart the steering column and trying to fix the problem in a gas station in Kansas at 1130 pm.  I was on my back on the floor of the van with a headlamp looking up into the bottom.  A girl came up next to me and made me look away from my work.  When I pulled myself out she asked if we had weed.  No offer for help even though there car ran fine, just a request for weed.  Made my night.

blowout number 1. Hunter was driving.  This happened at the 25 between denver and fort collins.

I love doorways.

We had to find a quick spot to take a dip. Here hunter and chris are enjoying the main ingredient in Colorado Koolaid

You are what you eat.

Always take a picture of this park.

Gotta get right.
